Di Legno, dedicated to promoting the interests of young, emerging and mid-career interests from Vietnam will launch its debut exhibition featuring the figurative and landscape works by renowned Vietnamese painter Ho Huu Thu and his son, Ho Hong Linh.
Through the use of a palette of soft hues, the elder Ho’s figurative paintings reveal subtlety and serenity in a dreamy ambience. Imbued with Buddhist philosophy, the younger Ho’s landscape work is a synthesis of peace and tranquility.
Both artists will grace the welcome reception on the opening day on 16th Feb. Mr. Choy Weng Yang, the first curator of Singapore Art Museum, the art educator and one of Singapore’s most notable abstract painters, will be the Guest-of-Honour at the Opening.
