concours, Homme et femmeThe H&S painting is a juxtaposition of mythic representations of man and woman. On one hand, the woman “antique” and eternal shown the way the Ancients were seeing it (here without a head) and on the other hand, a thinker pausing in a way that is familiar to us, anxious to be there. Eternal subject, eternal representations. It is without doubts the most faithful painting in this matter, matter which is formulated as an allusion that sends us back to our own traditional representations.
Since 1997, he has been extremely active and creative. He took part in many exhibitions. His work became very pure and abstract. His paintings are appreciated and sought after by collectors.
