Tran Thi Thu Ha

Tran Thi Thu Ha, the Romantic, is born on the 28th of October 1952 in Hue. There, she has developed a keen perception of the beauty of things probably helped by the enchanting cadre of the Perfumes’ River, the dilapidated but grandiose charm of its royal tombs or the legendary grace of its young women.
The artist has a vast source of inspirations and she is as much astonishing and at ease in her figurative paintings and her poetic dreams than in her abstract paintings or flowers and cat that she can paint with so much force and grace. Tran Thi Thu Ha paints life with naivety and simplicity but some of the colours she uses and the force she inputs add a particular sparkle to her work. Besides her occupation as an artist she takes care with her husband of one of the most beautiful and oldest gallery of Saigon.
